Current Workshops
AI and Psychology: Levelling Up Your Psychological Practice with AI
A systematic framework for evaluating AI tools from the front lines
Artificial intelligence is rapidly reshaping psychological practice—but for many clinicians, the most important question remains:
How do we evaluate AI tools safely, ethically, and effectively?
My "GPS" for Navigating the Private Practice Landscape
A framework for choosing the right private practice
Most psychologists enter private practice without a roadmap. They sign agreements they don't fully understand, join models that quietly undercut their earnings, and wake up years later wondering why the career they worked so hard for doesn't feel like theirs.
How do you evaluate your options — before you commit?
Working with Psychometrists
A comprehensive guide to building your assessment team
Drawing on decades of experience as Canada's largest and longest-standing group of PhD psychologists, this workshop offers a practical, real-world roadmap for integrating psychometrists into your practice and building a strong, sustainable assessment team.
Navigating Sexual Health in Therapy
Practical Tools for Confident, Competent Care
Sexual health touches everyone—yet most mental health professionals receive little to no training on how to address sexual and relationship challenges with their clients. Many clinicians feel unprepared, uncomfortable, hesitant, or unsure where to start.
Strengthening Couple Therapy Skills
Integrating Emotion-Focused Therapy and Sex Therapy Techniques
Whether you’re new to couple therapy or looking to sharpen your existing skills, this workshop is for you! Customizable for therapists at all levels of experience, we will focus on working with couples whose presentation includes sexual health challenges, even if/when they do not initially present with sexual difficulties.
Inclusivity in the Therapy Room
An Evidence-Based Approach to Working with Sexual and Gender Minority Clients
This workshop provides psychotherapists with a trauma-informed, culturally humble, and affirmative framework for supporting sexual and gender minorities (SGM). We combine didactic teaching with case examples and practical tools/suggestions for addressing common challenges and capitalizing on client strengths. We may also review specific pathways that gender minorities might take to help their bodies/appearance better align with their identities, and the role that psychotherapists can play in that process.
