Victoria Bolton
Victoria is an intern under the supervision of Dr. Deanna Drahovzal, Dr. Victoria Edwards, Dr. Vanessa Scarapicchia, and Dr. Emma Dargie. She is in the final year of a Doctor of Psychology degree with the University of Prince Edward Island. Her research focuses on the impact of childhood chronic illness on the family.
Victoria's clinical experience centres on children and young people and includes university clinic, school, and community settings. She has experience providing assessment and therapy for mood and anxiety disorders, trauma-related disorders, learning disabilities, and obsessive-compulsive disorder.
Whether in therapy or assessment, Victoria encourages self-compassion and curiosity in her clients. Her approach to therapy includes cognitive behavioural therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy modalities.
